HOI has the highest standards possible. I received excellent care from Dr Smith and Joshua Phillips. Every little detail is taken care of starting before surgery and afterwards. I loved that a few weeks before surgery they send daily messages about what to expect and how to prepare for the best possible outcome.

Approximately one year ago, Dr. Jeremy Smith performed my 10th back surgery after nine surgeries with other orthopedic surgeons. The lumbar fusion that you, Dr. Smith, performed was by far the most extensive surgery yet. The results so far is that I’m still experiencing pain, mild compared to the pain I was experiencing before the surgery. My back is still going through a state of recovery and the process of healing is tolerable. Dr. Smith, I thank you for giving me the relief to be able to enjoy a quality of life that I didn’t have before the surgery you performed.
On April 24, 2023, Dr. Smith performed a hemilaminectomy and decompression surgery on me. Additionally, he removed a very large facet cyst. He had to perform a partial hemifacetectomy to excise it due to its size.
During my initial visit, we discussed my options and he instilled confidence in me. I left that visit with the conviction that he could resolve my issues. Today, I am going in for my second post-operative follow-up. I have been pain-free for weeks.

Reading the information associated with Coflex, regarding you and your team, I couldn’t but think back to my experience. On July 18th, 2017, you and your team did a spinal fusion of the L-5/S-1.
You and your team were amazing. I felt like I was a bipartisan president. The entire experience was like watching a performance of Shen Yun. The outcome was even better.
The post surgical experience was amazing. I tell everyone I had no pain; however, I did have the obvious post surgical recovery pain and restrictions.
The surgery was about 6 years and 9 months ago. The stability in my back was completely restored. I gave away my “Bat table” (My inversion table), and have really enjoyed the elimination of the back problem I had suffered from, for so many years. I know I have thanked you in this manner in the past, but just want you to know, continue to be thankful every day!
